Thesis: Dante Alighieri is one of the greatest Italian poets of all time because of the way he contributed to Italian society, the descriptions he put into his work, and the way he relates the stories to himself.
1. He was a literary theorist, moral philosopher and political thinker.
2. Best known for La divina commedia.
3. He showed the vision of man's temporal and eternal destiny.
4. It is about the authors own expirences of getting exiled from Florence.
